When South Africa hosted the FIFA World Cup back in 2010, they made sure to add some features and attractions to the massive stadiums in order to keep them in use. For the Moses Mabhida stadium in Durban, they decided to go with the world’s tallest rope swing.
Verified by the team at Guinness World Records, this dizzying swing stands at an impressive 288 feet tall and swings you down to center field. It takes a while to climb up to the swing area, and it is most certainly not for the faint of heart or for those who are deathly afraid of heights. Still, it makes for quite the experience if you can bring yourself to jump.
